“Sabbatical” Update #4

Sorry for not following through on our community agreement as of late. If you have been part of this for any length of time you expect a daily weekday post, and I’ve been lax in that. Well next week isn’t going to get any better. In working with Stadia to plant a new church I’ll be attending a week of training next week in Atlanta.

So you may get a Quick Hits Monday morning because its already half done, but things will be quiet here for the week. Follow me on Twitter to keep up.

Had a very interesting comment this morning on a landing page from my Twitter bio. A young Pakistani man is looking for help finding a Bible College, could anybody help him out? Head over to the post to read it.

So here’s the rundown.

Three Books. In getting ready for next week I’ve read: Too Small to Ignore, Move, and People Raising. With two more I’d like to finish by Sunday.

Three Meetings: Great to connect with some folks, ask questions, and catch up with friends.

Sixteen Miles: Where I am struggling sticking to the plan here at the blog I’m keeping up with training for the half marathon.

One Sermon: Got to preach at my former church and it was great to get back up there. My favorite part of the morning was before as my wife was practicing with the band me and my son sat on the floor of the auditorium and played. Loved this shot where he’s watching his mom play.
