The Rookie Pastor Experience

Maybe you don’t want to read a 500 page post, but enjoy the content here (or maybe you are just a really nice person who likes to support a Rookie Pastor who just had a kid)

You’ll get at least 5 posts a week here at RookiePastor.com but there are several other ways to stay connected.

Email Newsletter

A little over 1200 people subscribe to the Rookie Pastor newsletter. Once a month I’ll send you an email with original content and links to popular posts from the last 30 days. When you sign up for the newsletter you’ll get a copy of The Rookie Pastor Manifesto and the newsletter is where the big news gets broken.

RSS

I’m a big fan of Google Reader and use it to keep up on probably more blogs than I should. When you subscribe to Rookie Pastor with a RSS reader you’ll get the text, images, or videos from every post as soon as it is published, you’ll never miss a thing.

Twitter

My primary venue for social media. I’m active elsewhere but Twitter gets the majority of my social media attention. You’ll get 5 tweets spread out through the app Buffer. I follow most folks back so we can utilize direct messaging. You’ll hear about Rookie Pastor content, links to other great resources, and you’ll never get an instagram of my feet. So follow me already!

Facebook

Not as developed as my Twitter presence but you will still get Facebook specific content that I also manage with Buffer.

Pinterest

Who knew recipes and decorating would become such a thing. You might think Pinterest is just for ladies or for wasting time, but Pinterest is just plain fun. I try to have some fun with it but I’ll let you decide on that.

Books

I put together two books in addition to the free one you get with an email subscription that you can pick up for less than a buck at Amazon. I’m especially proud of 30 in 30: How to Start or Restart Well.

Blog Series

Preaching, finding a job, leaving a job, small groups, seminary and a few other topics that were bigger than a single post.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
