Welcome: The Lift Project (Sponsored)

Burnout, isolation, and the problems of less effective pastors continues. These problems don’t just remain, many statistics claim they are on the increase and therefore we need new and innovative ways to engage them.

The folks at the Willow Creek Association (yes that Willow Creek) have created the Lift Project to help address these problems.

During my time in ministry I have seen through resources and the Leadership Summit, which in my opinion is the best all around leadership conference out there, that the Willow Creek Association is laser focused on creating healthy leaders and pastors for the long haul.

Through Rookie Pastor and in my personal story I know how challenging ministry can be and how lonely things can get. Seminary was great but by design incomplete. A few hours a week at a campus some distance away or through an online portal were incredibly formative, but didn’t provide the support and accountability I needed. Conferences were great to make contacts, get fired up and for some practical ideas but once I went home the notebook sat on the shelf untouched.

Lift (Leadership Institute for Transformation) provides relational learning courses that are flexible, short, accessible and facilitated so that leaders can learn and grow alongside others.

Not only do you benefit from going through these courses with other pastors and leaders, the courses themselves are facilitated by some of the most well-known leaders around. If you have attended the Leadership Summit you will recognize many of the names and know this is a great opportunity.

Having advertising partners here at Rookie Pastor is a big deal for me, but I love that I can partner with organizations that align with and enhance the mission of Rookie Pastor. If you are looking for some continuing education but aren’t prepared to make the financial and time commitment to Seminary, explore your options with Lift.

Each course is cheaper than most conferences, particularly when you figure in travel and accommodations and besides if this is going to get you to a healthier level of leadership, it is worth it.

If you have a product or resource that you believe would fit well with the Rookie Pastor community contact me for more details on becoming an advertising partner.
