Thanks Josh, it’s making a big dent by encouraging me as I enter into the rookie pastor arena

I discovered your blog only a couple weeks ago, and am reassured that I’m not alone. I’m likely older than most who read this, but am a rookie nonetheless (just finished my 1st yr as assistant at age 48). Thanks for your vulnerability and ‘real-ness’ (I loathe the word ‘transparent’). It’s affirming to see that God can use flawed people like us to accomplish something of eternal significance.

Ron, thanks so much. I too have words and phrases I try to avoid using.

Being a Rookie Pastor is more of a mindset than an age or years of experience. We need your perspective.

Congrats Ron on being one of us >40 rookies. Our life experiences will prove a blessing to others, as we journey side by side to better know and follow Jesus.

      Blessings!
