Truth for Rookie Pastors

I never want to lose sight of what this blog is about: Supporting and Encouraging Rookie Pastors.

You get to define your “rookie” status, but in my walk as a pastor there have been times where I needed to hear truth.

This truth ranged from the encouraging to the challenging, disruptive to the affirming. However every time I truly received this truth, I grew as a person and as a pastor.

The post that you are reading now will serve as a landing page for this new series. It will be different from other things here at RookiePastor.com

Each post will be concise and direct. When I needed to hear truth I didn’t care about the cute story to illustrate the point, I needed the point.
